Murphy's Newsletter Jan 31, 2002 Hello All!
![]() Here we have Murphy sniffing the Christmas tree. This was one of his favourite Christmas pastimes. He didn't do any damage to the tree, he was simply very curious about it. He also enjoyed walking around behind the tree, and emerging covered in pine needles. ![]() And here we have Murphy wondering where the hell Santa is. We discovered that the only way to deter Murph from sniffing right into the fireplace was to light a fire in it. So that's it for Christmas! Some of these photos date back to early December, but they're really just random shots of Murph, so don't let the time mismatch here bother you! ![]() Here we have Murphy smiling for the camera, he does so love to pose. And on the right is a shot of a tattoo that we bought for Murphy. It's a Canadian flag with two paw prints in the centre, where the maple leaf should be. I think it was meant for humans to wear, but come on, what's funnier than a dog with a tattooed belly?
Notice how big he looks in the top photo with Allie, and how small he looks in the bottom one with me.
Here are a few more shots of Murphy hanging
out in my bedroom. To the left we have him sleeping by my heater.
He seems to head over there not just when he's cold, but also
to take refuge from anything in the room that's bothering him.
Above we have Murphy lounging on his favourite pillow, and begging
me, with his eyes, to put down the camera!
![]() Above, Murphy is enjoying his Nylabone, a new one he got for Christmas. I put these two pictures up just because I enjoy the look on his face in these two shots. You can also see his loooooong eyelashes in each shot, if you look carefully. And not just the ones that point up, check out the longer ones that curve down, to touch his cheeks!
So that's it for now. I have the next update all ready to go, the theme will be "Winter Wonderland", so come back soon! Meghan Here's the link to the next update: Feb 6, 2002 Home | Latest news | From the beginning | Origins | What kind of dog is that? | Colours of cockers | Cocker links |
