 He took a little talking to, then posed happily, with his new Santa no less! Well, you've already seen the pictures of Murphy with my cousins, and I didn't take any pictures during dinner itself, so we move straight to after dinner. Here we have my father hanging out with Murphy, passing him a few pieces of the bird:
 My dad likes spoiling those dependent on him, so he and Murphy have a nice little relationship. My dad dotes on him, and Murphy gets lots of treats. Really, that's not so unusual around here...it pretty much sums up Murphy's entire existence. When my dad was putting the dishes in the dishwasher, Murphy gladly stepped up to the plate and took on the chore of prewash:  And when dessert came out, Murphy had to go inspect it. He went around and around the table, sure that somewhere else there'd be a better angle to get at the goodies:  And even when Christmas was over, Murphy still had the holiday spirit. Or maybe he was getting a jump start on taking the tree down. Either way, he took a real liking to the stuffed animal-like decorations on the lower branches (imagine that!). Some times he'd wander out of the living room with them hooked to his collar, apparently by accident. Other times he'd have them in his mouth, clearly having made a conscious decision to remove them from the tree: 
 Well, that's it for Christmas. I've found the pictures that were caught in Shaw e-mail limbo, so I'll get those up some time, hopefully soon. They are from before Christmas, so hopefully it won't be too confusing putting them up out of chronological order. I'm off to enjoy an evening with no homework, though the upcoming weekend doesn't look nearly so rosy. I hope this picture packed update has satisfied all of you, and will keep your Murphy-cravings to a minimum! Back
